According to legend, the burger was created by singer, songwriter and record producer Luther Vandross who decided to experiment with donuts after running out of hamburger buns. Dubbed a "cardiologist's worst nightmare", these sandwiches tend to run between approximately 1,000 and 1,500 calories.
