The Hapy Birthday song was originally composed in 1893 as “Good Morning to All” by Patty Smith Hill, a kindergarten teacher and her oldest sister, Mildred Jane Hill, a pianist and composer. According to the 1998 Guinness Book of World Records, "Happy Birthday to You" is the most recognized song in the English language, followed by "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow". Today, the famous happy birthday song is finally in the public domain, meaning you can sing it anywhere, at home or in front of a crowd, to your heart’s content.
