Privacy policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026. This page explains what Trivia.net collects, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
You can play every quiz without creating an account, and we never ask for a name or email address to play. Your scores and completed quizzes are stored only in your own browser (local storage) so that the site can show you what you have already played. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics and a privacy-focused page view counter to understand which quizzes people enjoy and how the site performs. These tools collect standard technical information such as pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser type and referring site. We also keep anonymous play counters (how many times a quiz has been finished) that store no personal data.
Advertising
Trivia.net is free because it is supported by advertising. Our advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads that are relevant to you and to measure their performance. Where required by law, you will see a consent prompt that lets you accept or decline personalised advertising. You can also opt out of personalised ads through your browser settings or at youronlinechoices.com and aboutads.info.
Messages you send us
If you use the feedback form or email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply. We do not add you to any mailing list and we do not share your details with third parties.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and local storage entries for the site to work (for example, remembering your quiz results in your browser) and, as described above, for analytics and advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time; the quizzes will still work.
Children
Trivia.net is suitable for all ages, but it is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Because we hold very little data, this is usually a matter of deleting a feedback message. Write to us and we will help.
